And this, friends, is my weight loss journal :)
I’ve been writing down my intake and exercise for about a month and a half now. I think the quote on the front is very fitting!

Sorry it’s backwards! Hopefully you guys can read it anyway :)

Today I am PROUD

I went for a morning run to “beat the heat.” However, by the time I was out there it was already 80 degrees.

No matter! I ran for 35 minutes :)

I also walked 2 miles (to and from work)

And ate really well! Here’s my intake:

  • Brunch:
  • Baby spinach and arugala salad
  • Smoothie (1 cup kefir, 1 banana, 2tsp honey, handful of blueberries)
  • Snack:
  • 1/2 cup Chobani
  • 1 pear
  • Veggies with hummus
  • (Kind of a big snack, but whatever)

I haven’t eaten dinner yet, but I’m going to Chop’t with a friend.

Coffee

1 slice of cheese

8 Trisquits

1 slice cinnamon toast w/ cream cheese

Dinner

Salad (kale, arugala, spinach, cherry tomatoes)

The only thing I wish I hadn’t eaten would be the toast with cream cheese. However, I’ll take it :)

Exercise was a 25 minute morning run in the rain. Proud of myself for just getting out there!

Today has been an excellent food day.

I had a deliiiiccccious salad for lunch!

Spinach, baby arugala, half an avocado, and a handful of walnuts! Dressing was olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Mmmm.

Also, I went shopping! I bought a big tub of plain Chobani Greek yogurt, a mango, avocados, pears, blueberries, bananas, baby spinach, baby arugala, red bell peppers, romaine lettuce, garbanzo beans, and more delicious items!

Then, I had (what I consider to be) a BRILLIANT idea! I went and made a section in our pantry for myself. Now that I’m home for the summer, I’m eating my family’s food. This means more opportunities to eat unhealthy things that I didn’t pick out in the store. However, I made half a shelf in the pantry just for me, so that if I want to snack I can look there for healthy options. Yay!

This isn’t what I typically post, but I think this woman has a beautiful body.
